That hair though!!!

As a mother too mixed children I have struggled with what products to use in their hair. Trust me I have tried it all. After trail and error I finally found a product that I will stand 100% behind. Let me put it out there not all beauticians know what products to use in a mixed kids hair. Products that may work for Kamille didn't work for Sariah, and vise versa. They both have different textures in hair. Mimi has more of a defined curl, and Riri has more of a loose curl... Both are equally beautiful.

The products that worked, only worked for so long, and that is an issue I have. Product is expensive for their hair. Let me tell you all a story about how beauty supply owners and or beauticians can get it wrong too. Especially if their children aren't mixed.

So I need more hair product for the girls, shampoo, conditioner detangle spray. You name it I needed. Now I don't mind spending money on product for their hair, if it works. One thing I cant stand is that when I walk in to most beauty supply store they don't want to help me. I never know why, but it is annoying. So I walked up to the counter to ask the owner who is also a beautician
if she could recommend any products that worked on mixed girls hair, I was just waiting for her to say what I knew she was going to say. " Oh, girl you want MIXED CHICKS, you didn't know"? I looked at her crazy because I felt like if they had to name the bottle that it probably didn't work. My opinion. You'll I looked at there prices and almost had a heart attack. I was not about to spend $50 dollars for two things. So I did what any sane person would do and asked for samples. I wanted the ones for kids and the ones for adults. Boy was I glad that I did.

I went home took their hair down and began to wash. Now before I wash my kids hair I comb it out.  Depending on if their hair was styled I will section it out and wash it section by section. If it was just down and curly I will comb it and wash as is. I wet their hair and massaged their scalp as always. I applied the shampoo and began to wash, one thing I immediately noticed was that I had to use more product then usual. That was already a bad sign. The next problem I came across was trying to rinse it out. It didn't want to come out. It took me forever. So then I applied the conditioner- I myself like to comb their hair with the conditioner in it, and then put a clear cap on for 5 min to allow the
conditioner to work. This is what works for me, not everyone. After 5 min had past I went to rinse it out. Once I was finished I towel dried the hair. The hair smelled good, but was extremely dry. Almost to that of heat damage. I was not satisfied.

I am not sure why people always recommend this product for mixed kids. It doesn't always work. I can name a million products that I have tried that worked until they didn't. I can also tell you a bunch of products that didn't work at all. Instead I want to talk about a product that I will always use and never go to anything else.

So, when I think about my hair I know that I want a good product all around. So why wouldn't I want the same for the girls. I did my research on all products no matter what nationality. One kept standing out. "Shea Moisture" This product has no sulfates, no parabens, no phthalates, no synthetic fragrance, no paraffin, no propylene Glycol, no mineral Oil, no synthetic colors, no DEA, and has not been tested on animals (a big plus for me). Also every time you purchase a product of "Shea Moisture" You help disadvantaged women to have a healthier and brighter future.

Now for the shampoo and conditioner I use the Mango and Carrot Kids products. They not only smell divine, they work amazing. The girls hair still has shine, and feels cleans. Once I've washed their hair I apply the
coconut and hibiscus kids extra moisturizing detangler. Comb out their hair and then use the coconut and hibiscus curl enhancing smoothie. Now once a month I use the Raw Shea Butter DEEP TREATMENT MASQUE on their hair. I only leave it on for 5 min with no heat. Some may want the heat, but not for my kids. If I do the deep treatment I comb out after and apply the hold and shine moisture mist and let it be for the day. That hair though... I love their hair.

This product has not let me down. It satisfies every time. I hope that this product will give your kids hair life like it does mine. LOL. It is great and I am in love. My kids ask " mommy can you wash my hair so it will smell and look good". Too funny!!!
Also a side note if you have babies and kids the also have a product line of bath wash, bubble baths, lotions etc.
